My Bible devotion today took me back to a familiar verse and one that I love and need to remind myself often,

Proverbs 15:1-3 first let me say Proverbs is a wonderful teaching book to help you and I work hard to live a life in a Godly way in this ungodly world.

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turns away wrath; but grievous words, (harsh words, )stir up anger. Verse two, the tongue of the wise uses knowledge the right way, for the mouth of fools pours out foolishness. verse three, the eyes of the Lord are in every place beholding the evil and the good.

My final thoughts, first the eyes of the Lord are everywhere, He sees all, evil=that which is not good. My family and friends, we know the difference between what is good and what is not good.

Let our speech let our thoughts always be good. When we miss that mark and we will, pray seek Gods forgiveness and only then seek forgiveness from the one our words have hurt.
